The ‘Corner Trap’ is a very heavy duty (and heavy weighing in at 12Kg each!) trap designed primarily to remove accentuated bass frequencies which ‘collect’ in the internal corners of rooms (though it can be mounted on both internal, and external corners)
It offers the same full range frequency response characteristics as the slimmer Ghost traps above 250 Hz, but continues to be highly effective down to very low frequencies, removing around 30% of sound energy even down to 100Hz!!
‘Corner Traps’ should first be mounted at speaker/head level in the corners on the front wall, immediately behind the main room monitors Then, depending on room size, and the degree of Bass problem, more can be added by stacking units vertically, and by adding them to the rear corners of the room
